THE SCOOP: When makeup artist Dick Page and Michael Kors put their heads together to decide on a look, they went for something in stark contrast to season's past. And whereas the Kors model usually sports a clean, no-makeup makeup look like last season's, or maybe red lips at the most, this year they decided do something very different for Kors (but right in line with what we're seeing at many other shows) - drum roll, please...a smoky eye! Page went for a sooty, gunmetal grey on the upper lids, and rimmed around the bottom lash line in black liner for extra contrast. Lips looked natural in a flesh-tone pink, and cheeks remained bare. The insouciant eyes were in stark contrast to the tailored, ladylike looks Kors sent down the runway, perhaps pointing back to the economy - fashionistas may be able to keep up their outward appearances, but inside, they're just another tortured soul.
